About

Dipsea Flower is a folk-rock band from Northern California, blending vintage West Coast vibes with a modern Folk energy. The group formed in 2023 while studying at Berklee College of Music, and quickly made waves with their debut single, “Hummingbird” (Nov. ’23). Soon after, they teamed up with record producer Jon Gilbert (Mt. Joy, flipturn) for their second single, “Sundance” (May ’24), a summery folk-rock sing-along perfect for a top-down drive along the coast.

Drawing inspiration from the rich vocal harmonies of 60's and 70's West Coast groups like The Beach Boys and The Eagles, as well as the raw edge of modern acts like Mt. Joy and Houndmouth, Dipsea Flower brings a unique twang to the folk-rock world. Mitch Mosk of Atwood Magazine described their sound as “a fresh breath of warm light, and a sweet, smile-inducing sound,” calling them “a definitive artist-to-watch.” He added, “Fans of Mt. Joy, John Vincent III, and flipturn are sure to fall hard and fast for Dipsea Flower’s Golden State magic.”

After spending 2024 touring around the country and supporting artists such as Hans Williams, Ethan Regan, and Briscoe, Dipsea Flower is gearing up for the release of their debut full-length project.

BASS, BACKGROUND VOCALS

From Brooklyn, New York, Marley is a Gibson-endorsed Bass prodigy. When she was four years old she was on TV and then cried when she saw herself because she did not look like Miley Cyrus. Marley enjoys cooking “various Italian meals” and playing candy crush you better put that in the bio did you put it in.

From Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Andy enjoys playing the drums at all times, especially for 30 minutes straight on a practice pad while sharing a hotel room with three other people. He has an insane Frankie Valli impression and he also has perfect pitch (nerd).

LEAD GUITAR, BACKGROUND VOCALS

From Santa Barbara, California, guitar is just one of the many talents that Trev possesses. He is trained in physics and uses it to win every beer pong game he plays. He is also the most likely to have a five year plan.
